Takuya Nakamura

Takuya Nakamura is a Tokyo-born musician and producer based in New York. He moved to the United States in 1990 and studied under jazz theorist George Russell at the New England Conservatory before settling in New York in 1994, becoming a fixture of the city's jazz and jungle scenes. He has played in Jojo Mayer's Nerve and CocoRosie and worked with Quincy Jones, David Byrne and Arto Lindsay.
