The Quasi Kings

The Quasi Kings are a reggae-rooted rock band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2016 and led by brothers Zach Coleman (vocals, saxophone) and Benny Coleman (vocals, bass). The group builds on a reggae foundation and folds in hip-hop cadences and rock guitar. Its recorded catalog begins with the EP Throwaway Culture, released in December 2018, and continues with the album Eye of the Storm in August 2022, alongside the release Sunday Morning Cartoons. The band has also circulated remix work, issuing Cut It Out (Mellodose Remix) in January 2023 and, in June 2026, a version of Herb For Me remixed by the Savannah reggae-rock band Passafire. The Quasi Kings work mainly in central Ohio, playing Columbus rooms including The Bluestone.
