EsDeeKid

EsDeeKid is a rapper from Liverpool, England who performs anonymously, appearing in a balaclava and withholding his name, face and age. His music blends cloud rap and trap over atmospheric, lo-fi production, and is marked by a thick Scouse accent; his subjects run to nightlife, drugs, relationships and designer clothes. He first surfaced as a guest on DualSpines' Altered in 2023 and began releasing under his own name in May 2024, with the 2024 single Bally, featuring Rico Ace, singled out by Pitchfork. His debut mixtape, Rebel, was released on June 20, 2025 through Lizzy Records with production handled entirely by Wraith9, running eleven tracks in roughly twenty minutes. It reached number sixteen on the UK albums chart and later number twenty-three on the Billboard 200, and charted across Austria, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The single Phantom, again with Rico Ace, passed 300 million streams, and 4 Raws was remixed with Timothée Chalamet in December 2025. Later singles include LV Sandals, Century and Made It on Our Own. He was nominated for British breakthrough artist at the 2026 BRIT Awards, placed fourteenth on Complex's list of the hundred hottest rappers in April 2026, and drew a Berlin Music Video Awards nomination for Century. His Bandcamp page, which carries the CANINE imprint, lists Rebel alongside the tracks Omens and Century. He toured Europe behind Rebel, including a date at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, and the Council House Rat Tour with Rico Ace runs across North America and Europe from September to December 2026, with United States dates including Charlotte and Raleigh.
