Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Hughes and Homme are the band's only permanent members, and Homme rarely appears live because of his commitments to Queens of the Stone Age; the touring lineup also includes Leah Bluestein on drums, Scott Shiflett on guitar and Dustin Douglas on bass.
