Chance the Rapper is an American rapper, singer and producer from Chicago, born Chancelor Bennett in 1993, whose jazz- and gospel-inflected hip hop broke through on the 2013 mixtape Acid Rap. Coloring Book (2016) was the first streaming-only project to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, one of three Grammys he won in 2017, and he has since released the studio albums The Big Day and Star Line.
