Andrew Bon Bosher

Andrew Bon Bosher is a Denver, Colorado electronic producer and DJ who self-releases his music on Bandcamp. His catalogue there runs to roughly two dozen albums and EPs plus a further set of standalone tracks, and it reaches back well before the style he is now identified with. The High Rhode E.P. and Illumina E.P., both from 2015, were tagged as soul and Melbourne house; SpinDash E.P. from 2016 as jackin house and jungle; and RNG in 2017 and Invisible Walls in 2018 drew on breaks, drum and bass, footwork and ambient, several of them framed around video-game conceits. I-Frames, which he describes as his third album, arrived in August 2022 after a four-year gap and moved toward deep and melodic techno. From late 2023 his output settles into tribal and hardgroove techno, with Race Trax in September 2023, Off Off and Foliao in November 2023, the last folding in dembow and other Latin rhythms, and Cyber Tribal in October 2023. He has since worked in short, quickly released series: Groove In Focus, Groove In Focus 2 and Groove In Focus 3 across three consecutive weeks in April 2024, Pulse Ritual and Pulse Ritual 2 a week apart in November 2024, and FocusGroove and FocusGroove 2 a week apart in June 2026. Tools of Groove, from March 2025, is presented as a collection of stripped-back techno and hardgroove tools built around groove, and the thirteen-track Powertrain, from July 2025, as a set of raw, movement-driven explorations. He also maintains an ABBootlegs series of edits, with volumes in 2023, 2024 and 2026.
