Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in 2002 in Winter Haven, Florida. The group released Never Take Friendship Personal (2005), Cities (2007) and New Surrender (2008) for Tooth & Nail and Universal Republic, disbanded in 2014 and reunited in 2018. Founding singer Stephen Christian stepped down from touring in October 2023, and Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire has fronted the band since, now as its lead vocalist on record as well as live.
